Productivity tip

Let's strive to be proactive in our work. Not reactive.

According to Patrick Ewers, CEO of MindMaven, being proactive means completing carefully-planned actions to achieve the goals that move the needle most for your business. It means focusing on what’s important, not just what’s urgent.

A proactive person is like a stallion and a reactive person like a rocking horse. Both are moving, but only one is moving forward.

At it's core, it's about staying disciplined and focusing on big-picture strategic initiatives, and not being bogged down in our day-to-day distractions.

Easier said than done, right?

We are by no means experts on self-discipline or proactive work, but after reading this article, I think we've taken a step in the right direction and we encourage you to check it out!

What's in our journal

New Product Alert!

Today we are launching our newest journal, The Moxie Scribe.

mox·ie/ˈmäksē/ - Force of character, determination

For every 'Moxie Scribe' sold, we'll be donating one to organizations that uplift, inspire, and support young women along their educational journey. We kicked this off a few weeks back with a donation of 100 journals to a non-profit called Girls Who Listen, an organization that provides the resources, support, and mentorship to aspiring female artists, musicians and creatives.

We encourage you to check out this new journal, and please, share it with your friends!

Talk to you next week!
